Oh hi, I’m Wendy!

and It’s my honor to help you on your plant-based journey

As a plant-based personal chef, I understand the importance of being able to have a sustainable plan for healthy eating and living.

But it didn’t start out that way!

After I was diagnosed with type 2 diabetes, I came home and was immediately frustrated when I walked into the kitchen. I didn’t know what to eat and didn’t have the skills to cook anything healthy at home. And the frustration and embarrassment led to me eating out a lot.

I ate whatever I wanted and then some. I ate lots of fatty, fried food and drank soda like it was going out of style. I didn’t take my own health seriously. It was a recipe for sluggishness, low energy, and lack of focus.

Then, in May 2020, I had a blood sugar incident that sent me to the emergency room. My blood sugar was over 600 mg/dL (normal for diabetics shouldn’t be more than 130 mg/dL), and I was in serious trouble health-wise. In that hospital room, I prayed for the strength to make the necessary changes in my lifestyle and learn to cook and eat healthily.

That’s when I discovered the whole-food, plant-based diet and lifestyle. In early 2021, I was able to significantly lower my A1C through diet alone. Now, it’s my pleasure to help you on your journey.
